Material Choices..

Below is a list of tile varieties with descriptions of their properties and suggestions for the optimum placement on certain floors:

	Granite A polished natural stone tile which leaves a quality finish and which is perfect for kitchens or anywhere in your home where there is a lot of traffic.
	Limestone & Tavertine A matt natural stone which gives a natural finish. Hard wearing and so ideal for floors but also for bathrooms to give a romanesque ambience.
	Porcelain A man made tile which is waterproof and extremely strong. It is polished and is good for any floor or wall in your home.
	Ceramic The most versatile and most widely used tile. It is waterproof and easy to clean. Ceramic tiles are used throughout the home in a variet of situations.
	Slate ANother natural stone that varies in shape and texture which gives a rustic, natural finish. Ideal for large floors and around fireplaces due to its heat resistance. Needs to be treated with an impregnating fluid to avoid staining
	Mosaic Available in a variety of tile types and patterns. Mosaics give definition to plain walls. Ideal for wet rooms and bathrooms or anywhere where a dull wall or floor needs definition.
	Marble A natural stone which is characterised by the veins running through the stone. Hard wearing and therefore ideal for areas that attract a lot of feet.

Grout - Grout comes in a wide range of colours to suit your specific requirements.
